The way the servo card controls the Lego motor is as you described except that the circuit has so much "gain" that the motor is almost full ON when the stick is on either (...) | | | | Personally I use servos connected either to pneumatic switches or polarity switches. It's not a small solution but I feel it's more LEGO pure as I'm only replacing what my fingers could do with the servos. See my site for a lot of examples of this. (...)
