Oh! Very nice! It's a Liebherr alright!

Equiped by RCX, and supported from air by my Atlas compressor, main function
on this model are:

1) Steering-Tower rotation combined, controlled by the same motor
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=39375

Do the wheels and tower move at the same time or is there some way of selecting
which function to activate?

Building in technic figure scale often means working in a little space, and
further the RCX output port are limited to 3.
I decided programming model in two different configuration:
1) Steering and drivetrain when model walking (program 1)
2) Outrigger, tower and valves when the model working (program 2)

Steering and tower usually move at the same time, cause I have not space to
insert another technic switch, but simply moving-out belts on steer-train

So it's fully programmable except for the technic switches?

Yes !

I really like these modelteam/technic MOC's with mindstorms control! Especially
when they are so loaded with gears :)

Thanks
Andrea
