Re: Need Instruction Scans - Trike Buggy (set 1257 or 3000) —David Till
You have to consider that many of the Technic motorcycle kits have an alternate model that is also a motorcycle/trike, and some non-motorcylce sets also have a motorcycle alternate. Then there are the models found in the ideas book 8888-8891, the (...) (22 years ago, 24-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic)

Oh ok *whew* - I thought you meant 35 different SETS, didnt think about the various alternatives that were in a given set. But I would like a list, so at least I can have a reference (might not be able to build all 35 or so AT ONCE, but I think I (...) (22 years ago, 27-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic)

Great list - but you did include a Roborider - #8004 Dirt Bike :D Here's a few to add: 393 Norton Motorcycle (1976) 394 Harley-Davidson 1000cc (1976) (above two not really Technic, but way cool as LEGO model sets go) 8240 Slammer Stunt Bike (ok, (...)    Looked up a 393 on Bricklink - whoa, my wallet had a heart attack. Thinking about just recreating one from downloaded instructions, but the wheels & tyres are of a type I have not seen before. The wheels look like they could double as paddle wheels (...) (22 years ago, 5-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)

Re: 393 pre-technic parts —Clark Stephens
Mike, The paddle wheel is a european-only pre-technic gear. From the same series are the milky-white axles and red bushings. They are listed on Technica: (URL) tyres look like an early version of the 3634. You could probably make a modern substitute (...) (22 years ago, 6-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)

(...) You should add the humble 1x4 plate. It's my favourite part for different variant's, I'm sure there's at least four, maybe six. You could look at 24t Technic gears as well. They're also a good source. Steve (22 years ago, 6-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)
