New element in new Biolicle Va sets? —Huw Millington
Well, it's new to me, a friction version of the 'technic axle pin', 3749, in black. (URL) this appeared anywhere else? It looks like it could be useful... Huw (22 years ago, 25-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic)

(...) I got these in black from my 6950 Mobile Rocket Transport way back in the day. They were black, but weren't friction pegs. Adrian -- www.brickfrenzy.com (22 years ago, 28-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Thanks. I've been waiting for Lego to make this part. It only seems natural to have a friction peg with an axle end. It will certainly be a useful part and I hope they include it in more new Technic sets. TJ (22 years ago, 30-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic)

No, the regular Bahrak do not have these new friction pegs, but they do have a new non-friction 3L peg (in light gray as expected). "Huw Millington" <hmillington@cix.co.uk> wrote in message news:Gqrsux.EM4@lugnet.com... (...) (22 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Hmmm. That's interesting. If you're talking (URL) 1981), the brickshelf instructions definitely look like they're grey, not black. Were there 2 versions of the set I wonder?    (...) They are definitely friction pegs. They are indeed black. I'd be disappointed to if I had bought a 'sorting toy' instead of a construction toy. The REAL confusion would be if they were light grey. (22 years ago, 30-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic)
