Have there been two versions of <set:8862>?
I noticed that someone wrote in the comments to this set [1] that it has "all
yellow cylinders" and on Gaurav Thakur's review site it actually appears with
yellow cylinders but in all the other pictures I could find (lugnet, brickset,
brickshelf) it has the usual cylinders (yellow & black).
Does anyone have any more information about this?
Does any other set have these "all yellow" cylinders?

| Strangely enough, on Technica there is a picture of a 8862 with two regular cylinders and one "all yellow" one. It also says that <set:8044> had one of those all yellow ones. (URL) David (...) (23 years ago, 11-Dec-01, to lugnet.technic)

| A year ago I made a page for these differences, explaining it to one of my technic-set buyers. I'll upload the page again, for about a week or two. | 'All yellow': 1989 First appearance and introduction of the 8862 in the Dutch Lego-Catalog (pic 38&39): (URL) 1990: Cap color changed to black. First seen in the German/French/Italien catalogue. Also the 8854 has the newer black-cap cylinders in (...) (23 years ago, 12-Dec-01, to lugnet.technic)

| (...) Hey I also noticed that little thing with the cylinders. The 8862 Backhoe Grader I got was slightly strange; it showed the yellow cylinders on the box and manual but came with the black pistons. I believe this change took place sometime around (...)
