(...) I agree. The black pieces make the set look more like an Episode I C-3PO than an Original Trilogy C-3PO. (...) I ended up having to trim the feet stickers because they kept peeling off. Lego should have just made the two pieces that the feet (...) (25 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Same here; some of the older sets really came with tons of beams as compared to today sets...two that comes to mind are 8880 and 8485... (...) This sounds weird I done some work on the word "Mata Nui" and its FIJIAN - and it means "Genuine Eye" And also "Mata Nui" comes from Easter Island, before anybody says that its called Rapa Nui, but the name is in the text Here's few links (URL) I (...) (25 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Yup, those are my (patent pending) wheelie bars. When I was first driving it around the house, whenever it would go over something taller than 1/2 inch, it would tend to fall on it's back.
