  Re: Revamped webpages

Very nice indeed. I especially like the bike. It's something still in my 'Future Projects' drawer, making a bike that scale. Not having the 8448 I'd use 8417 wheels. BTW, could be my browser, but I couldn't enlarge the pics on the bike page, and I'd (...) (25 years ago, 26-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Revamped webpages

If you saw them first time round, see them again! If this is the first time you've seen them, enjoy! Anyway, I have redesigned my Technic Lego web pages. They can now be found at: (URL) back before the new year (no promises - I can't rely on myself, (...) (25 years ago, 26-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic) !

  Disappearing threads?

Is it me or are postings going missing? I wanted to check the Silver Champion Review of a few weeks ago as I just found one under the tree..... All I can find now is part of the discussion. This happened to me before. Anyone know how/why this (...) (25 years ago, 26-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: 8448 Modification?

Check Cool Lego site of the week a few weeks back, there was a site dedicated to modifications of the supercar. Congrats on getting it btw, I was hoping for one but got the Silver Champ... Duq "blessing" <blessing@icefog.net> wrote in message (...) (25 years ago, 26-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Question on 8094 Control Center

(...) I have one "screw" axle from my <set:8851> set. I think it's #8, but I'm not sure - I'll have to check once I get home. What are the lengths & quantities of this kind of axle in the <set:8094> and <set:8862> sets? I'd like to build them some (...) (25 years ago, 25-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Question on 8094 Control Center

(...) Oh okay; yeah, that piece could have some interesting applications since it seems that it can be connected easily to an axle. I think it's used as a crank handle on this model though... (...) Yeah I know what you mean; the old turntable is (...) (25 years ago, 25-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Question on 8094 Control Center

(...) The weighted black piece is actually the same kind used in the Trains sets which were models of a level crossing, 7866 is one example. It is a metal piece, and I believe it's correctly called a counterweight. It certainly is useful, IMHO, (...) (25 years ago, 25-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Question on 8094 Control Center

(...) Thanks! This set seems to come with quite a few unusual parts actually...besides the pen, there is also what appears to be some sort of weighted black piece (this can be seen on the side of the pen plotter near the pen holder) and it also (...) (25 years ago, 25-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)

Re: what current sets incluide this piece in black

(...) Yeah...this set comes with TONS of various generic pegs. I'm not sure of the exact numbers, but there are 70+ friction pegs, 20 or so extended friction pegs (the ones that can go through 3 holes) and about 12 (I think?) of the "bushing pegs" (...)   Re: Question on 8094 Control Center

It certainly does!! It's fairly rare, 8094 is the only set I know of that came with this pen - maybe other sets have had it since, but I haven't seen any which have a plotter in it. -- Cheers ... Geoffrey Hyde Gaurav Thakur <cp5670@supermail.com> (...) (25 years ago, 24-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Question on 8094 Control Center

Just had a question about this set; the pen-plotter model, which draws lines on a piece of paper, seems to include a pen with the word "Technic" marked on the side. Does this set actually come with this pen? Thanks, -Gaurav (25 years ago, 24-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)
