  Question on 8094 Control Center

Just had a question about this set; the pen-plotter model, which draws lines on a piece of paper, seems to include a pen with the word "Technic" marked on the side. Does this set actually come with this pen? Thanks, -Gaurav (24 years ago, 24-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)

It certainly does!! It's fairly rare, 8094 is the only set I know of that came with this pen - maybe other sets have had it since, but I haven't seen any which have a plotter in it. -- Cheers ... Geoffrey Hyde Gaurav Thakur <cp5670@supermail.com> (...) (24 years ago, 24-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Thanks! This set seems to come with quite a few unusual parts actually...besides the pen, there is also what appears to be some sort of weighted black piece (this can be seen on the side of the pen plotter near the pen holder) and it also (...) (24 years ago, 25-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Oh okay; yeah, that piece could have some interesting applications since it seems that it can be connected easily to an axle. I think it's used as a crank handle on this model though... (...) Yeah I know what you mean; the old turntable is (...) (24 years ago, 25-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)

(...) I have one "screw" axle from my <set:8851> set. I think it's #8, but I'm not sure - I'll have to check once I get home. What are the lengths & quantities of this kind of axle in the <set:8094> and <set:8862> sets? I'd like to build them some (...) (24 years ago, 25-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)

The pen was available as a seperate item from some countries. It was not sold as a Lego piece, but as a Lego accesorry (along with lego apparel and other school-like supplies). "Geoffrey Hyde" <ghyde@ledanet.com.au> wrote in message (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)
