Gray parts? Which gary parts? The only gray parts that I had at these
times are the ones from 8860, 8845, 8841. Just a few plate and even less
bricks. And a 10x20 basebrick from my first set (a universalkasten from
1968)..:-) I won't even talk about the dark gray (in which I haven't any
single part). The sets that I had at these days are as follows 8860,
8841, 8845, 6367, 6654, 6624, 6627, 107, 30 and 033. Plus some extra
parts from friends an such (remainings from a yellow castle and and a
8090). Around 1400-1500 in total..:-( And before 1984 (in which year my
dark ages started), there is no imported luxury goods available in
Turkey, so I was deeply dependent on relatives who visits other
countries.
Actually all of my models from that era are mostly red and black since I
only had enough plates/bricks to properly sculpture the curved/angled
surfaces in black and red.
Even now, I'm still very short in gray bricks, although I have almost
45000 parts..:-) (you see the Viper on the same page?..:-))
Hey, actually it can be a parade/air show dress for that aircraft..:-)
