Some more thoughts on this - Perhaps Link "C" could be replaced by a bush instead of a 3 hole half beam? If so, there is much more scope for curved guides - perhaps the non-studded beams with a bend in the middle could be used, or even some flex (...) (25 years ago, 26-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

(...) I tried something a bit unusual to this end with a some znap axles John Barnes sent me. It actually worked quite well, although the drive train took a wee bit of torque to turn - the new gear motors managed it with no difficulty at a gear (...) (25 years ago, 26-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)
