  Adjustable 4 wheel steering

Hi, all For those recently discussing adjustable 4 wheel steering (and anyone else interested), I've done a proof of concept prototype of my idea. You can find it at (URL) (25 years ago, 26-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Steerable Drive Axle

Julien, (...) have (...) TLC have! The 8880 super car has 4 wheel drive, 4 wheel steer. (I think the 8448 also has 4 wheel drive? Someone correct me if I'm wrong!) They designed special parts for it though - I haven't seen a good implementation done (...) (25 years ago, 26-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Helicopter

Hi, Dan, (...) No, I haven't ever worked with helicopters, or aircraft of any nature (though I'd like to get a pilots licence some day). I got all the information from reading - mostly on the web! Interesting your current employment - one of my (...) (25 years ago, 26-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

I know there are some clock design pictures here in LUGNET® somewhere.you might try searching for "clock". two things that might increase your time is a little more weight on the pendulum and removing the pully on the lead weight.   Steerable Drive Axle

Has anyone come up with a design for a steerable live axle? With the spacing needed for the differential and the substructure for the wheel pinnions, I have been unsuccessful in building a modular axle that is narrow enough for practical use. Any (...) (25 years ago, 25-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Helicopter

(...) Do you work with helicopters on a daily basis? I ask this since it seems you know some of the language (swash-plate, anti-torque pedals, etc). Also I work for a US defense contractor (Kaman Aerospace) which is building the SH-2G(A) Super (...) (25 years ago, 25-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: 8458 Silver Champ

Yes it is expensive, but i don't for one second regret spending the money. It is a Beautiful Model, and i enjoyed the build as well, i wonder how long it takes the designers to come up with these grand sets.... Gaurav Thakur <cp5670@supermail.com> (...)   Technic Pendulum Clock progress

I've been trying to make a practical Technic pendulum clock. I want it to run for 24 hours/winding, and to keep time to within 10 min/ day. So far, with 5 lbs of lead X 2 feet of drop, it runs for about 4 hours, so I have a ways to go. If there are (...) (25 years ago, 25-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: 8458 Silver Champ

(...) Actually I didn't really think this one was really that good. The look is fantastic and it comes with many useful parts and innovative design ideas, but there simply aren't enough functions to make it worth $170. At this kind of price I would (...)
