(...) Not at all- it really is pretty cool. And the track is extremely cheap (at least compared to 9v). If you are looking for a train that will run around a Christmas tree and be able to handle prying little fingers, this is the way to go. And even (...) Tony, This is pretty ingenious! Nope. The really long ones are Mindstorms. They come in handy for remote control. The shortest one (15) and the long middle (70) are from the space shuttle. The 20.5 come in ZNAP and Mindstorms. I don't know about the shorties being in the expansion (...) (25 years ago, 22-Nov-00, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

I believe the 2 middle lengths are from Minstorms RIS. The longer ones are used in the 8480 Space Shuttle and the very short ones came in the Minstorms expansions (ie: Robo Sports and Extreme Creatures) as well as the smaller Z-nap sets. Heh- sorry about the wide distribution, but this fits into a lot of categories. I have a new creation up on my site, a device for defeating the timer on the Duplo battery trains.
