If you can find it, buy the 8268 Scorpion Attack. It has 81 pieces and instructions for a plane and a helicopter. Neat stuff includes a Cyber Cannon, purple angled beams, a cyborg pilot, and some strange scorpion plates. The playability of this (...) (25 years ago, 12-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

Hi, What state are you in? In Melbourne I have seen the Power Puller at David Jones, a bit pricy though. TRU are selling the 8462 Tow Truck for $136, which is good if you want pneumatics. Basically look for sets on special, usually the older ones, (...) (25 years ago, 12-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Hi, If your clear pneumatic shock absorbers break that means they are faulty and must be changed (you call Lego customer service to have them replaced). The suspension on the 8448 uses the dark gray shocks. If you use the light gray shocks, (...) (25 years ago, 12-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

I have just bought an 8448 supercar, an 8500 fire slizer, an 8237 speed slammers red car and an 8247 buggy. Can anyone give me any tips for keeping my shiny new 8448 supercar in top condition? In particular how do I keep the clear shock absorber thingies from going on me? does anyone know of any ewb pages relating to the 8448? (whats the lego 8448 page (...) (25 years ago, 12-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)
