I got Extreme Creatures about a month ago when it was last on special at S@H for $25. I guess for the Fibre Optic unit and the collection of parts, it's not a bad price. As far as I can tell, it's the only way you can get the FOS main unit from (...) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-00, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.robotics.rcx, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

I read a rumor recently that makes me wonder. THe RoboRider Extra disk packs include an 8th wheel type, the neon read one. Does anyone have anny information as to what this is, When it is to be released of an other information on the "Boss" Super (...) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

These motors, used in Mindstorms, have 3 programmed states: On, Off and Float. When 'On' the motor runs at the set power level. When 'Floated' the motor coasts to a stop (power removed). When 'Off' the motor brakes to a stop. This braking is quite (...) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)
