Thanks for the replies. I think I'll stick to getting the RIS upgrade, extra motor and rotation sensor for the moment and wait a little longer for more Technic parts - I'm trying to find things my girlfriend can buy me for my birthday, she's already (...) (25 years ago, 2-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

The 8448 looks like a 4th gen Camaro to me. Front engine, V8, convertible, mag wheels, with the secret white plastic seat option you can only get through Lego-Chevy dealerships. The Lego version has more cup holders than the Chevy, and costs about (...) (25 years ago, 1-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

I found a black old style technic motor in a local shop(servicepack) At the time, i thougt it was a plain 4.5 volt type, but later discovered that it was a 12 volt motor. Have this motor appeared in another set than 880? Any information, history (...) (25 years ago, 28-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic)

I tried to make a derailer transmission a few years ago, but pushing the chain off of the gears just wasn't working. Since you brought it up, I had a new idea. I don't think this would work for anything much smaller than a 2:1 scale bicycle, but it (...) (25 years ago, 26-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic)

well...i got the pictures taken, but i cant get brickshelf to work... i'll try again tomorrow... i can, however, give you some stats... the tires are 8.15 cm in diameter, 4.9 cm wide the hubs are 6.15 cm diameter, 4.5 wide and technic racing is (...)
