I didn't realize Huw was from UK, so I didn't post it earlier, but I checked my online bank and I was just charged for my preorder for 8458 on the 11th. So, that means its in the US and shipping, if I understand correctly. Call LSAH and see whats (...) (24 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic)

It just arrived this morning. The box is about the same size as 8448. The front panel opens to show lots of pics of the completed car. The box has a clear half panel once the lid is open, to expose a bag of silver parts, the silver wheels and the (...) (24 years ago, 14-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic)

(...) I got the same letter, but keep in mind, LSAH ships from Connecticut, and I live in NJ. So if I order in the morning, I get the package within 2 days, usually the next day! So I was billed on the 11th, received on the 14th. I ordered it as (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic)

This is confirmed. LSAH completed the order today and the kit should be to me in Los Angeles by Monday, August 21. Price is $169.99. Also, the Power Puller is on back-order and should ship next week. It's priced less than I originally thought at (...) (24 years ago, 16-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic)
