First off, here's my RULE:
Buy two so that you have enough pieces to make another arm and you can throw
out the throwing arms.
My favourite complete Throwbot would have to be Electro, or whatever the
purple bug's name is. As i stated before, i buy two of every set so i can get
rid of the throwing arm, cause it sucks. My favourite modified T'bot would be
Amazon.
I also found a way to mount Roborider heads on a T'bot body:
Pick your choices (head, torso)
Put a small gear(The kind that go with into the lower shoulder hole(the kind
that scuba has)) Where was I, oh yeah:
Insert the 6 unit pole thru ONE side of the body, put the worm gear in, and
put on the small head gear.
Put a 2unit pole thru each side of the R'Rider's head, but make sure that they
don't go thru onto the inside, because that's where the gear goes. Take the
small head gear out, put it underneath the R'rider head, and line them up with
the torso piece, then put on the other torso piece.
Get it? if you don't that's okay, it is kinda confusing. The result is worth
it though, they have this kind of deranged hunchback robot look to them.
<<KM>>
PS is anyone out there making their own T'bots? If you are and have some pics,
email me, I'd love to see them! I have a bunch designed, but I still don't
have a Digital camera yet.

| (...) I haven't tried this yet, but it looks like it might make a good "trailer hitch". Especially for remote-controlled or robotic vehicles: the flex in the middle of the arm, and the design of the hand, suggest that you could get a couple of (...) (24 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic)

| In a nutshell, the Throwbots seemed to be targeted at the age 7-12 crowd. They combine elements of other popular toys: Transformers, BattleTech, Lego (duh), POGs (collectible caps), and even a smidge of Pokemon thrown in (although not marketed as (...) (24 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic)
