  Question on two sets(5571-8448)

I was scanning around various lego websites and I have seen a few Lego Big Rig 5571 with some custom made trailers. My question is Since I don't have one of them does anyone know if the Technic 8448 Supercar is the same width as the Big Rig? I only (...) (25 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic)

(...) few (...) Sounds like what you built was at least partially similar to the way the AT- AT's leg works. There is a pin at the top to which a short beam is connected. Two long parallel beams come off this one making the upper part of the leg, (...) (25 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.starwars)

  108V Spark-Generating Contraption

Howdy I guess lugnet.technic is the most in-line with this project, since it uses lots of battery boxes & electricity & such. Most of the story's found at the link (see below), so I won't rehash too much here. By using only LEGO parts & not (...) (25 years ago, 2-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Questions on power puller (new Technic Set)

There's a Power Puller set (#8457) up for auction on Yahoo, with picture. (URL) not my auction; this is just an informational posting Paul Sinasohn (25 years ago, 1-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.market.auction)

  Modified 8448 V12 Supercar

Hey all, I finally picked up a 8448 supercar set about two months ago and never got around to finishing it according to the instructions. This is the result of my divergence: (URL) not based off of any real life car but I think it look kinda like an (...) (25 years ago, 1-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build)

  Re: Questions on power puller

Tractor pulling may be mostly a North American sport, although I have seen some German sites as well... for a view of what it's all about without needing the earplugs (Trust me, they rank up with Top Fuel dragsters for noise level) check out (URL) (...)   Questions on power puller

Looking at the latest argos catalogue, I got my first good look at the Power Puller. A few questions for those of you who know more than me: 1) Can you actually steer it? (Is it possible with all those wheels?) 2) The chains going to the engions (...) (25 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: space shuttle contents

(...) In general I think that's true, but in the 8880 Supercar set, the display window shows a pair of shocks, not just one. (25 years ago, 28-Jul-00, to lugnet.technic)
