  Re: Technicopedia Update

(...) Hi Philo, I have the 3800 Ultimate Builders xpak and I browsed all the models and modules on the CD and could not find one that uses an motorized pneumatic compressor; granted I have not built any of the models yet, but can you direct me to (...) (16 years ago, 16-Jan-09, to lugnet.technic)

Re: 8862, What's Wrong With This Picture?

What about part 4700 (Backhoe scoop)? Does it exist? Only appeared in 8862 and 8851. (URL) (16 years ago, 16-Jan-09, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.technic)

Re: 8862, What's Wrong With This Picture?

(...) You lucky man... you can go on dreaming! I happens that I am French, and have both some modelling skills AND the part ;o) Philo (16 years ago, 16-Jan-09, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.technic)

Re: 8862, What's Wrong With This Picture?

(...) The part only ever came in two sets, so not just everyone has one. What would you need? I could take measurements and/or send you 3-view photographs if that would work. Eric (16 years ago, 15-Jan-09, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: 8862, What's Wrong With This Picture?

(...) Part no. 2814 seems not to be very complicated but I am sorry, I do not have that part so I can't help. cu mikeheide (16 years ago, 15-Jan-09, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.technic, FTX)

8862, What's Wrong With This Picture?

I've been building an Ldraw model of the venerable 8862 Backhoe Loader both for fun and to enhance my page in Technicopedia. I've been doing some test renders and have posted what I have so far. Take a look and tell me what's wrong with this (...) (16 years ago, 15-Jan-09, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Belated flatbed design

Hello Sorry this is old, but I can't really build anymore since I am in art school. This is a design that many people have already seen, but it was tweeked, shall we say about a year ago, even though the truck has been around since 1999. The (...) (16 years ago, 14-Jan-09, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Technicopedia Update

(...) At the moment, I don't intend to cover any of the above except the racers which are clearly Technic. I'd like to go back and do the supplemental packs at some point. Bionicle is right out. There was only one Discovery set which I'd call (...) (16 years ago, 14-Jan-09, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Technicopedia Update

  Re: Truck

Hey, that's really nice! I think the way the steering and rear section functions are done make for a very cool model. Good work! (16 years ago, 13-Jan-09, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Get used to changing your desktop more often: (URL) If you go up to the higher level directories, you'll end up changing your desktop every day! Eric (16 years ago, 12-Jan-09, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: Technicopedia Update

(...) Wow! I think 'tremendous lot of work' might be an understatement. This seems like a very nice model, and you have really presented it well. (...) Well, it made it to my desktop at least. It's over a year since I changed background, but this is (...) (16 years ago, 12-Jan-09, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Technicopedia Update

Hello Eric, "The compressor pump has the same basic body and piston as the actuator (snip). This fantastic system was used only once, a tragedy which has no logical explanation." There is another use of motorized pump in this RCX supplementary set: (...) (16 years ago, 12-Jan-09, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Technicopedia Update

(...) 8062 will be included in the 1994 update. Not long now! (16 years ago, 12-Jan-09, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: Technicopedia Update

Great Work Eric ! 1992 was the first year of my dark ages and i've been trying to acquire these kits for some time now. Your work gives me insight into the mechanics of this fantastic period of Technic. Steve (16 years ago, 12-Jan-09, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: Technicopedia Update

I have now added the sets from 1992 to Technicopedia including 8826, 8828, 8836, 8837, 8839, and the great 8868. 8868 was a tremendous amount of work, but I hope you'll agree that it was worth it. (URL) I've also added lots more rendered revolving (...) (16 years ago, 11-Jan-09, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Truck

This truck was my first attempt to merge Technic and Model Team into one MOC: (URL) I built it quite a while ago but only recently took the pictures. Since I make more concept models and not many finished Technic MOCs I thought it would be good to (...)   lugnet.robotics.nxt co-curatorship

Almost a year ago I posted a thread about the (URL) robotics.nxt sidebar>. I don't update it much anymore, but today I was emailed a request to add a link to a new NXT simulator.   Re: The RTS Zavala Steamship-of-War

Hey, I just let both videos play. Really cool! The first one gives a good impression of the shape and size of this very well built MOC. Thanks!
