Glad to be of help Keith!
I did not use the tires from the backhoe because in my design, the differential
has to fit in between the A-Frames (not just between, but inside). The only way
to put the back hoe tires on my 4WD suspension is to angle the A-frames out
towards the center to fit the differential in. This would not allow enough of a
steering angle. It is very hard to explain. Another reason I used the 8880
wheels is to have axles with a large diameter and steer still far. Of course,
since the design is so narrow, they can't steer far anyway. I think I will have
to show you a picture to better explain it.
Thanks for the suggestion anyway.
