I, for one, am hoping that a new, but
same-scale car is produced every few years so that I can build up a grid.
Indy Storm looks Jordan-esque, and Silver Champion is a pretty obvious
McLaren. A red car next would be very nice.

Silver Champion is rather larger than 8445, isn't it?

Look at the photo in the "2000 Technic" section of www.technic-uk.co.uk.
The curved body panels are the long ones from 8448, and the wheels,
while not the very large ones from 8448, look different from 8445's.

peace,
Chris Jeris

Actually, the Indy Racing League is owned by Tony George, who also owns the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (where the 500 is run). "Indy" and "Indycar" are trademarks of the IMS. Prior to 1995, "Indycar" was used with permission by Championship Auto (...) (24 years ago, 28-Mar-00, to lugnet.technic)
