Why should they need to recall it? Surely all that matters is that they
change the name of the product on future packaging and in next year's
catalogue?

| Since the Indy Racing League (IRL) had to go to court to prove that they (not the Indianapolis Motor Sports Park (home of the Indianapolis 500) had legitimate claim to the name "Indy", they have to do all they can to protect their copyright (and it (...) | I was told by a Lego person that 8445 Indy Storm has been recalled by Lego due to a trademark violation of Indy. This affects the US or Americas distribution only as Europe has a different product name. The product does not appear in the Lego.com (...) (25 years ago, 26-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)
