| I've been building a lot with the new style of Technic bricks recently and really am getting into it. | Yes, it is best to have the option of using either method where appropriate... presumably it is still possible to get sets with the traditional Technic beams etc. What would be a good currently available set for this? Jennifer (20 years ago, 29-Jun-04, to lugnet.technic)

| (...) Among those that I own, the best ones from 2003 would be the "model team" sets. [LEGOSet 4403] [LEGOSet 4404] for black technic bricks, and [LEGOSet 7470] for black and white technic bricks. I looked at the parts inventory of 7470-1 Space Shuttle Discovery which was mentioned by another poster to this thread and did see liftarms, pins, like 41679, (...)
