If there is a cure, I don't want it. Years ago I was into the Legoland Space
sets, but at some point Lego moved away from making so many small sets and
started having lots and lots of big expensive sets. And they're all too cool,
but a 14 year old has a limited budget, you know? Then last year I was at the
local Wal-Mart and spotted the rack of Throwbots. What can I say, I'm a sucker
for robots. Then two months ago my mom gave the technic pit droid to my nephew
for Christmas. After seeing it, I just had to go get one for myself, and I
also came back with the Battle Droid and Millenia Throwbot. I started
poking around lego.com, now I can't wait until I can scrape enough cash
together for the 8448 Super Car, and maybe that green truck with the big claw
too. Yep, I'm a college student and I play with toys. But then, I never
outgrew cartoons either.

Over the last couple of months I've purchased about a dozen Technic sets including two large ones (8479 and 8480), and I just love building (...) (25 years ago, 1-Mar-00, to lugnet.technic)
