> Is there a cure for Legomania technicitis?
Mad spouse. Don't push it too far.
> Do I *want* to be cured?
No. Practice building skills moderately, ie, build no more than free time
minus time for a well-rounded life. Do not sacrifice muscular exercise or
your family's needs. Build instead of watching television or wasting time
otherwise. In fact, budget time to build like you plan time for other
essential activities; your brain needs the exercise, too.
> Should I worry about my obsession?
No. Legomania technicitis does not afflict; it bestows a craving to prevent
the mental atrophy that threatens everyone who does not hand-build. Compare
this skill to hand-eye coordination and all the developmental skills
expected of young children. Aging should not dilute the maintenance of such
skills. Use it or lose it.
Just do it. Miles Gentry
