    Pneumatic Engines —Rob Stehlik
Hi everyone, As promised, I have been working on a more interesting Technic project. I have made a couple pneumatic v4 engines which you can see here: (URL) you have any ideas on how to measure the power of these things, let me know. It would be fun (...)         Re: Pneumatic Engines —Paul Krieg
(...) It looks great! Have you thought about using it to power anything? As a car it shoudn't need a fly wheel. The cars momentum (geared up) will keep it smooth. I think it would be kind of quick. Just a thought. Nice work. :) Best regards, Paul (21 years ago, 15-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic)

(...) You could time how long it takes to winch a small amount of weight hanging off the edge of a table top a certain distance. See the recent power pulling threads to see what I mean. This was more along the lines of what I was thinking. Then I could just hook (...) (21 years ago, 16-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic)

        Re: Pneumatic Engines —Max Maxwell
(...) It would be fun to make it a v8 with eight new double acting pneumatic pistons (if you had enough). Really powerful, but kinda big. Might take too much effort to pump it though. Guess it would be a v16 then, with 16 power strokes per cycle. MM (21 years ago, 16-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic)

         Re: Pneumatic Engines —Rob Stehlik
(...) Alex Zorko has done just that. (URL) the bottom of his ideas page, and also his dodge charger model. He says it powerful enough to tear apart gearboxes. I am going to try using the new style cylinders, but they are much stiffer and I will have (...) (21 years ago, 16-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic)
