my thoughts on a technic legend

Based on how things have gone before and what I know about the market for "big technic" I can recomment these attributes for a technic legend: 1.should cost <$100 us (when it was first released anyway) Anything more than that would have a more (...) (22 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: You get to choose!

Excellent stuff Jake, I shall be voting but... I do have one small cavil and I really hate to do it after you have put in so much work but there has still been no Technic Legend. Is this because Technic sets are so large that it is feared they would (...) (22 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.technic)

  Re: More back hoes..

(...) That's why my first attempt at an "agricultural" vehicle was the humble lawn tractor. I was able to get away with Silver Champ wheels turned white writing side inward. These tractors have hugely wide tyres so they don't damage the lawn. The (...) (22 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: More back hoes..

(...) Daim. I'm trying to find a vehicle that actually has tires that wide but they are hard to come by. A forest harvester would be cool somday. (...) That's what it's all about, borrow the good ideas and improve them. We should all do that. /Tobbe (...) (22 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Japp, I tried the wheels from 8466 but found them to be to wide to look good. (...) thanks (...) I thought you would :) I had another construction first but then I saw yours, might use that some other time. (22 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: More back hoes..

(...) I see you too found LEGO's wheels to be a tad to small for a nice Backhoe :) Nice work Ibbe! I sort of recognize the support legs :) (...) Got it, thanks! /Tobbe (URL) (22 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)

Wow! I didn't even know that this place exsisted until I followed Nicole's brain removal movies from Mask O Destiny. Hi there! Don't dispair, I'll announce the winner I'm just rather busy at the moment so it'll take a little longer.   Re: New MOC - Goblin

Thanks for the reply, Paul. I like the Beaster Bunny. I especially like the right hand and arm. I haven't been able to successfully (to my liking) use the long angled and grooved arms for anything - Woops! I guess that's not totally true: I used (...) (...) Yes, you're right. (...) Yes. (...) Me thinks 2x4 swiss cheese brick is not so bad after all. One thing I wonder is if anyone used them for bracing before the technic era.
