  Re: New Parts

(...) I said "most times" :) I guess you can't put an half bushing between the frame and wheel thus making the drive axles one stud wider in total, the axles could meet half-way in the beams. (...) Personally I'd cut a #10 since I own more of these (...) (23 years ago, 2-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)

  RE: New Parts

Ah, but you were asking for parts we want not fudges we can achieve! I want the ridge intact in the correct place! I can make 7U axles as well!   Re: New Parts

This is any easy one, the only tool you need is a pair of little electronics type diagonal cutters like Radio Shack sell for about $5 I think - red plastic coated handles made from die cut sheet metal. You can use them to nip the ridge off from (...) (23 years ago, 2-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)

  RE: New Parts

Now two parts I *would* pay for A black friction version of the 3/4 dark grey pin. If you attach a half width studless beam/liftarm to a full width beam with two of the dark grey ones it more often than not wobbles too much - I want a nice tight (...) (23 years ago, 2-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)

  RE: New Parts

I agree - but then ... Check out my variation of Jennifer's Bobcat at (URL) and if you look closely at "...squeeze.jpg" you'll see that the rear axle on the left protrudes slightly - that's because it really needs to be a 7U one - The same is also (...) (23 years ago, 2-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: New Parts

Yeah, Roboslizonicles are a great source of supply of "raw" material ;) The part you describe yields a ball with a short length of cross axle attached from the other end when you chop it up as well. With some of these highly specialised parts, I try (...) (23 years ago, 2-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)
