  Re: My Ambulators

Using the programming environment that comes with Mindstorms is a little frustrating in that I want to simply capture data streams in a data file and dump it to, say, a spreadsheet. What I've found myself doing is using the LCD window on the rcx (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jan-02, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

  Re: My Ambulators

Well..I did kinda, Some foreground information is needed before I can explain that. The lego touch sensors arent simple toggle throw type switches, they have a precision, where the touch sensor can have values ranging ( for example ) 0 to 100, where (...)   Re: My Ambulators

hi Brian, nice robots and good pictures ! I just studied them roughly, but did I conclude it right that you made a rotation sensor with the normal lego switch ? If so, great (because finally we've a destination for that terrible sensor), does it (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jan-02, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

  My Ambulators

Hello everyone, this is my first Lugnet post. Yea for me :) I just wanted to show everyone my lego creations. Ever since the Lego Mindstorms website had an Ambulator contest about a year ago I've been fascinated with making them. So after nearly a (...)   Re: bionicle in technic

(...) Apologies if you thought I was attempting to slander Bionicle. But the initial question wasn't just "How can I avoid the Bionicle posts" but "Why isn't Bionicle in its own subgroup?". The answer to that is that by Lego's apparent definition, (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Powers and weaponry

(...) Aha, here I go. Tahu-Leader kind of Toa. His fire sword can melt through any rock and can scratch diamond. He can control fire to do his biddings. And his Shield mask protects him from moderate forseen attacks, not sneak attacks. Lives near (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  marble track

has anyone ever tried to make a marble track like one of these: (URL) cousin brought up the idea to me and I can't seem to find an efficient way of getting a smooth curve. Anyone have any ideas or sites I could use? Thanks, Jared (23 years ago, 15-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Powers and weaponry

A friend and I are working on something, and I was wondering this: Based on official material only (games, comics, whatever) what powers in terms of weaponry does each Toa have? Also, what elemental powers do they have? (23 years ago, 14-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: Bionicle Avatar pictures flooding BrickShelf

Ok, if you didn't know this, most of the pictures are avatars for a message forum called Bionicle Zone. For some reason some of the members feel they need multiple avatars or they make many and let others use them. On Bionicle Zone avatars can only (...)   A bit slow!

Now, call me slow, but I've only just noticed that the Krana also fit over the front of the Toa's heads. From the pictures I've seen they only cover the top half of the head, leaving the 'mouth' exposed. What I'm wondering is can you still fit a (...)
