There are some good parts indeed in this set; I was looking forward to the front steering/suspension setup but there is an awful lot of backlash in it, in fact the backlash movement is almost as great as the entire steering range!   New Bionicle logo...?

After all those Toa sets and displays with the infected mask and the toa walking in front of it, this Bohroc display shows a toa mask with the Bohroc in front of it! This probably means the Bohroc have to take it back from the Toa. The site also (...) (23 years ago, 12-Dec-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

(...) Yup! although you do also get 2 pairs of them in the rather cheaper 8465. I was forgetting that the shocks are unique (AFAIK) in that they are more stiffly sprung than the normal long-travel shocks found in 8880 etc, in the same way that (...) (23 years ago, 12-Dec-01, to lugnet.technic)

(...) The main new parts are the compact 4WD/4WS cv joints to replace those used in 8880. So far, the only set to use them. (As 8880 was with its version) Very nice! Pics here: (URL) regards, Chris (23 years ago, 11-Dec-01, to lugnet.technic)
