(...) Have you made sure that all axles are loose and turn freely in the setup? If that doesn't work, you may need to redesign the gear box in order to properly motorize the car. The gear box in the 8448 is designed to have the wheels drive the (...) (23 years ago, 12-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic)

I know I've seen something about this before in .technic, but I've been searching for ages and can't find any posts on this. I recently bought the 8448 (after a couple of years of waiting to find one in a sale, but finally gave in), and the gearing (...) (23 years ago, 12-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Well, Larry, you can say there's always some dumb fool who has done it. As a matter of fact, I did have a MIB 8680 Arctic Rescue Base set. It's the only thing I have that's got the early pneumatics. So I simply had to open up the box to see (...) (23 years ago, 12-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)
