Re: Motor Failure (was: lego Technic "class")

(...) I've come across one gear motor that failed, but it's one I bought cheap second hand, I should be able to get my money back. I tested it before purchase and it worked but it turns out the fault is intermittant. To fix the problem you have to (...) (23 years ago, 14-Sep-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

Re: Motor Failure (was: lego Technic "class")

Technic-heads, read this: (...) any seize, but I haven't used them very much either. What I have noticed is that on a few motors, when I turn the shaft slowly by hand, it will bind up unless I apply a lot of torque. It almost feels like there's a (...)   Re: Special Mask Powers

The silver Hau is explained on the www.bioniclemusic.com website. As for the other two, I'm not aware of anything Lego has said about them other than that they exist, so I guess anything we've heard about them is speculation. (...) the (...) sure (...) (23 years ago, 14-Sep-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: McDonalds & Bionicle Pens...

(...) Thanks guys, Don't worry Matt, I wasn't accussing you of starting a rumor - I knew I saw it somewhere official, but couldn't remember where; now I know.   Special Mask Powers

  Re: Torsen Differential

(URL) is my version of a Torsen Differential based on the design on Mike Fusion's page (URL) ended up with one very similar to the one made by Rob Stehlik with a few changes: I used <part:32069> instead of <part:32034> to support the 16t gear. (...) Well, I certainly don't want you to run around aimlessly looking like a fool, and I didn't just start a rumor (i don't do that sort of thing when I can help it...)...   McDonalds & Bionicle Pens...

Here's a question directed at all the Southern California members out there... Has anyone found a McDonalds that has the Bionicle Pen?   Re: Two silly items

(...) Agreed. The highlight of Technic were the Universal sets, but they aren't made anymore so we need to deal with that.   Re: Two silly items

(...) Perhaps I should explain what I meant by overpriced train set. I have yet to see a train set priced in the $25-$30 range that was 'ready to go'.
