| | | Review Of The Rahi
| Since the Rahi are out now and I haven't seen much talk about them yet, I thought I'd get the ball rolling and post my thoughts on 4 of the Rahi sets...8537 - Nui Rama, 8548 - Nui Jaga, 8549 - Tarakava, and 8538 Muaka and Kane-Ra. I hope to hear (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic)

| A good question. The planning stages, just using paper & pencil, graphic calc from time to time, takes about 2 to 8 weeks. No really fancy plans on paper or screen, just number values and sketches. The prototype stage can take 1 to 12 hours straight (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic)

What is the same is the 'swashplate' concept: two normal plates with the 'smooth' side against each other. Trough a (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic)

| (...) This is a good question. I'm also curious as to the time it takes other builders to make such MOCs. From my experience on my big crawler crane, I've estimated that it took me 200 to 250 hours straight building time. However, that was spread (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic)

| My <set:8539>, back-ordered from Lego S@H, just arrived in mail. I have not finished building the models yet. The set comes with two IR controllers, as well as two receivers. Each IR units take 3 AA batteries, so you need 12 batteries in total. Each (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.technic.bionicle)
