 | | 8465/8466 new parts?
|
| Can someone who has the 8465 or 9466 take some pictures of the new special parts, I want to see what they look like BEFORE I pay my money to buy the sets. (24 years ago, 11-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic)

| | | | | 8465 First Impressions
|
| My 8465, back-ordered from Lego S@H, arrived in mail yesterday. I rushed to build it, for the fear that this may be the last chance that we can judge this set all by itself, without it being overshadowed by its big brother once 8466 comes out. The (...) |
| I finally got my copy of the new catalog and I have a few questions. First of all, I was looking at the 8466 Off Roader (which has generated considerable discussion in the past few weeks). As far as I can tell, it has steering, pistons, suspension, (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic)

| (...) True, they don't do a whole lot, but two of the six Toa, Gali and Onua, are made where you can move both arms, and one, Pohatu, has a leg that moves (although this makes him even more prone to falling over). (24 years ago, 10-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

| Hello, I just finally signed up at Brickshelf and posted a small Bionicle MOC. (URL) not completely Original, there seems to be a picture of this on one of the Game Cards with Lewa. Just thought I'd try it out. And yes, I've begun to get reeled in (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

| OK, thanks for the references. I'm all up to date now. I would have seen all this Maori controversy if I had not actually been in Polynesia at the time. In my opinion they (the tribes claiming damages) are claiming far too much specificity. This (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

| (...) I've taken to mixing Throwbots, Roboriders, and the Toa's (of the same type; i.e. Granite, Dust, and Pohatu) into new creations. Ski, Frost, and Kopaka made 2 very interesting creations. Torch, Lava, Flare, and Tahu made 3 creations. You can (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic)
