  Technic motor question

Okay, guys, I've got a question about the various Technic motors. I just built a big Land Rover and I'm powering it with a motor I got from a Znap set last year. It's not very powerful... very slow, since the vehicle is so heavy. I also have the (...) (25 years ago, 11-Jun-01, to lugnet.technic)

(...) ...Its great to get them out of the game. I really loved the Gali scene and its nice to have it loose so I can run it for my son (over and over and over :-) (...) --- wubwub wubwub@wildlink.com www.sitcatsit.com <-- a guy and his cat (...)   Re: LEGO Legends

(...) The bulldozer has, like, two functions? You can push it along, too, though. And both the functions use the same principle, a sliding rack which pushes a lever. Honestly, I think this is a rather boring display of technic functions, especially (...) (25 years ago, 11-Jun-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: LEGO Legends

(...) At least for me the numbers are easier. First of all that's the way I think about a set: I think: 853,8860,8865,8880,8448 and not: PKW, Auto Chassis, Test Car, Super Car, Super Car Mk II. The name could be very confusing - what's the (...) (25 years ago, 11-Jun-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: LEGO Legends

(...) (The yellow bulldozer from the late Seventies) I built this recently from the instructions on Brickshelf and it is pretty good, and was certainly a killer set in its time... but compared with some of the more modern sets with pneumatics and so (...)   Re: LEGO Legends

(...) All these numbers are very confusing, apart from 8462 I don't know the numbers of any sets and can't be arsed to look them up. Can't people use the proper names? Steve (25 years ago, 11-Jun-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Bionicle going away?

(...) I hope so. However, collecting them back to melt and transform them into real Lego bricks could be much preferable rather than dumping them away..:-) Selçuk (25 years ago, 11-Jun-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: LEGO Legends

(...) Hmmm... Here is the list of MOL (my own legends): 856, 8855, 8859, 8860, 8862, 8868, 8880, 8448, 8460, and 8480 and honorable mentions: 855, 8856, 8422, 8459, 8479 But 8422, 8448, 8459, 8460, 8479 and 8480 are quite new to became a legend, so (...)   Re: Look at this!

Hey! I was just thinking the same thing right before I read your post. Anyway, I honestly have no interest in racers. They have like what 5 or 6 pieces in each? I'd rather wait till the crystal came out in some other set. (...) get (...) (25 years ago, 11-Jun-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Look at this!

(...) Ahhh, but that's where the LEGO part comes in--drop a peg/axle or a 4L axle with stud end and voila! :) best LFB (25 years ago, 11-Jun-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Look at this!

(...) Sorry, man, it won't work. the crystal ataches to a stud, not a beam. (25 years ago, 11-Jun-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

(...) Umm...look at what? Not Kopaka, right? (25 years ago, 11-Jun-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Look at this!

A NEAT RACER SET! It comes with a transparent-blue crystal! It appears the thing the Racers are jumping over swallows them if they hit the net. If I get this set I'll probably replace the black ball on Kopaka's chest ((URL) ) with that crystal. NICK (25 years ago, 11-Jun-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.announce, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: Impossible to take apart - reprise

(...) I came across the same problem when I took my <set:8448> apart. I think "theoretically" it's not different from separating two plates - it's possible but sometimes the height of the plate does not provide a good grip and it's hard to apply (...)   Impossible to take apart - reprise

After enjoying the discussion about the hard-to-take-apart cube I thought about some constuctions myself. Couldn't come up with something simple and elegant so far, however....... I'm just after taking the 8448.... almost. In the door-opening (...) (25 years ago, 11-Jun-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)

Well, highly regarded by Kiernan and I, who do that section of LEGO.com (the BUILD section) and put together that Super Car article. I would hesitate to jump to any conclusions based on our editorial choices. =) Tomas Clark tclark@halfrobot.com (...) (25 years ago, 10-Jun-01, to lugnet.technic)
