Bionicle Toa £7 for 2 at Tesco

I think the subject line says it all. Only confirmed at my local store in Hatfield but they usually do the same nationwide I think. Because of this deal I picked two up even though I had sworn not to get sucked in! Psi (24 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Non functioning Micromotor.

(...) Thanks Tony, Derek and Aaron. I called Consumer Services and they are going to send me a new one - without even asking for the old one first. Now that is both beyond the call of duty and asking for trouble, so... To TLC, well done and to (...) (24 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: #*@#!!! I can't get in anymore.

(...) I had some problems with the changes also. For some reason when I'd click on the area I wanted to go to, I'd get the "loading" globe. The first time this happened I waited about 5 minutes for the page to load, but finally got bored and hit the (...) (24 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  My Technic Creations website update

Hello all, I have added three new models to my website. The most interesting one is the HEMTT military tactical truck. Go take a look at (URL) for details. Thank you, Olivier (24 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic)

Joy! I'm back in the game (was: I can't get in anymore.)

(...) Thank you for the prompt and useful reply. I can see mata nui now (...) Some more questions on this now. Will it be necessary later in the game to have saved some things?   Re: #*@#!!! I can't get in anymore.

Try this address: (URL) that you don't need to login with a Club ID to play, only to have it save your position automatically -- that's the reason behind the "machination," it's so you can save. It's not clear enough at the moment that you don't (...) (24 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  #*@#!!! I can't get in anymore.

Ever since lego changed the page so that it requires a club id to get in, I've been shut out. All I get is a screen saying the server can't process my request. Anyone out there know a work around or have an address behind the login I could go to? (...) (24 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

RE: RCX & Cybermaster (VLL comms and MicroScout)

(...) [snip] (...) [snip] (...) Yep, besides using the "normal" Light->LightSensor type of comms, the direct electric connection is possible too, by using NQC's Off() and Float() commands, you simulate the ON/OFF state of a TouchSensor. This way, (...) (24 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Solar-Powered Hexapod Walker

Thanks for the info on the solor cell and capacitor, I've been wondering how well they work. Gary BTW: nice bot! Micah J. Mabelitini <micahx@kih.net> wrote in message news:3AB7204C.1AAE5E...kih.net... (...) (24 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic, lugnet.dacta)

  Solar-Powered Hexapod Walker

I built a simple solar-powered hexapod last weekend with some new parts I ordered from Pitsco. The walker is quite slow, using the LEGO solar cell to power a 5225 9V motor, which drives a worm gear coupled directly to a 24T gear. I've found the LEGO (...)   Re: When do(es) the new car(s) come out?

When do(es) the new car(s) come out?

The big 4X4...there's that big one (8466 methinks), and a $39 smaller one (8465 iirc)...do they come out at roughly the same time? or does one come out before the other one? Anyone heard a date for release? Beuller? Beuller? (24 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic)

Re: RCX & Cybermaster (VLL comms and MicroScout)

(...) Thx, Marco. I'm investigating! btw, Do you mean that they communicate through a standard lead attached to sensor inputs, say, or some other electrical connection? Interesting that the CM can't communicate at speed, but the MS & CP will. I'd (...) (24 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: RCX & Cybermaster

(...) The Cybermaster is a pretty big unit. It's turquoise, and the same width & depth as an RCX, but about 2/3 longer. I only just bought the Cybermaster (£50 at amazon.co.uk - bargain!), and I didn't really know what to expect - Fyi, the (...) (24 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Analogue Control of Pneumatics

  Re: Non functioning Micromotor.

Hi Simon, In the first instance, call LEGO Consumer Services on 08457 080070. If you explain the problem, they will almost certainly send you a replacement. The micromotors seem to have a habit of jamming: I've destroyed one myself, trying to find (...) (24 years ago, 19-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Non functioning Micromotor.

Contact Lego, they are very good about replacing damaged parts. I buy alot of Lego and have only had problems with sets a few times, but lego has always been very good about replacing the bad parts. Derek (24 years ago, 19-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Non functioning Micromotor.

  Non functioning Micromotor.

Hi I'm not sure if this is the right place for this question but... I just picked up a 6979 in The Entertainer for £20 because it has a few useful bits and one of these is a micromotor... but... it doesn't work. The battery box and the cables are (...) (24 years ago, 19-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic)
