Suggestions wanted - auto-centring motor drive

I was wondering if anyone had a good, small technical solution to this problem. It's for applications in remote-control steering and in other mechanical actuators, like the tipping unloaders of Steve's GBC train wagons. The idea is that, for (...) (17 years ago, 17-Aug-07, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Large personal GBC (Was: First Posting)

Thanks everyone for the great feedback, it's good to know I'm not the only one who likes it :) To answer some of the questions... the circle is the most reliable, never even lost a ball, but the stairs and the rocker are just about as reliable and (...)   Large personal GBC (Was: First Posting)

I built it last night. My earlier problem was in trying to use 4-stud axles to hold the pulleys in their offset position -- this is hard to describe, but the gist of it is the axles sometimes got in the way of other pulleys and warped their (...) (17 years ago, 15-Aug-07, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

Hi All, I've been reading this site for a while and decided it was about time to actually post something. Just to give you some background on to where I'm coming from, I'm the other guy who did the Star Wars movies with Jason Allemann. I started (...) (17 years ago, 15-Aug-07, to lugnet.technic)
