  Re: My First MOC

As promised, here is a link for Brickshelf. There is a movie there too, but the lighting wasn't great (it was raining, and I was in my basement) so apologies. The robot tips in the movie because the floor it was on was slanted due to the drain in (...) (19 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: Huge Bridge?

(...) That would be my bridge. Thanks for your comments! No, it's not the record span. The longest span, to the best of my knowledge, is this 8.9 meter bridge: (URL) My bridge (spanning a modest 17' 3 1/8" (5.26 meters)) withstood about 5 hours of (...) (...) and the Kiddicraft/Lego connection. I think there is a similar story in the USA with Halsam/ELGO/Lego but I don't know all of the details. With a little research I think this would be a welcome addition. Eric (19 years ago, 11-Apr-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Crawler Treads

I can imagine there being a glut of wookie figures on bricklink while many builders buy these for their treads. The lack of these has limited the possibilities for GBC and robot designs for too long - so I may buy a few boxes. It would be great if (...) (19 years ago, 11-Apr-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Crawler Treads

(...) It has seventy of the tread links, 71 if you include the supernumerary one. At $30 ($24 if you find a 20% off sale) you're effectively paying $10 over the price for an equivalent number of DACTA tread links. I'd rather have these, though (...) (19 years ago, 11-Apr-05, to lugnet.technic)
