Hello everyone, I just got back from the Lego Outlet at Discover Mills, (678)847-6078. They just received a huge shipment and I thought some of the folks here might be interested. Since I do not have any pneumatic left for the moment I have made a modell from the 50:s wirecontroled diggers. After having seen one irl I was amazed by the control the digger have. I seriously think you can't use LEGO parts to make a propeller. It needs an airofoile shape, like an airplane wing. It needs to be thick towards one edge and thinn down on both sides. You can only get so efficient with just a plate. Is the (...) (22 years ago, 10-Feb-03, to lugnet.technic)

(...) I guess that the new "Discovery" sets are not so good as they should be. The Space Shuttle Discovery is in details NOT so precise as the Technic model or as other Model Team sets. hi during weekend i've been testing many applications of propellers and the sad info is i haven't been done helicopter but here is some observations # it is (IMO) almost absolutely imposible to do chopper with propeller done with lego and witout the (...) I'd much rather see bulk packs with only one part type per bag. I don't need more axles of any size but #7, and I definately don't need more friction pins or z16 gears...
