I have started to store and sort through my Lego paper collection (instructions, catalogs, magazines, etc.). For catalogs, I have put each in a sheet protector and labelled it something like this: 1979 7 1/4"x7 3/8" 103517 103617 US I put in metric (...) (26 years ago, 28-Sep-98, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Sorting/Storing Catalogs

I once had a request for knowing the codes for metric(European) paper sizes. If you want those, I will be happy to post them here. A4 would be much easier than 210mmW x 297mmL anyday!!!! Hi: (...) That was me who requested them! It is interesting to note that Legohas used both US 8.5 x 11" and European A4 paper sizes for some of their instruction books. Jim hughesj@one.net (26 years ago, 1-Oct-98, to lugnet.storage)

(...) Make sure you use the "archival quality" sheet protectors. The other kind can mess up your stuff. (...) What makes the "archival quality" sheet protectors so special and why do the other kind mess up the catalogues? How would I recognize an archival quality sheet protector, anyway? Fredrik (26 years ago, 12-Oct-98, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Sorting/Storing Catalogs

Maybe it sounds harsh, but I prefer separating my catalogs and instructions page by page, then insert them into separate nylon protectors (A4 or A5 depending on the size) and store them in 3 cm binders (A4 or A5 depending on the size). The extras (...) (26 years ago, 16-Oct-98, to lugnet.storage)

The slowest thread ever! I know this is a month (and then a year more) old, but I am catching up, too, and there's a lot to catch up on! Archival quality sheet protectors are very useful and almost a necessity for photographs, but I think (the ones (...) (25 years ago, 21-Dec-99, to lugnet.storage)
