Yeah, yeah, Im resurrecting my own thread ... so shoot me.
Okay, heres the low-down: sorting got put on a hold for a long while for a
variety of reasons, most of them revolving around work. I recently got back
into sorting mode. My red and light grays are sorted, and Im currently
working on Step 2 sorting of dark gray.
Yes, I have steps. Does anyone else sort like this?
First - segregate the color you want to sort. This week, thats the Dark Grays.
Two - seperate the pieces. 2x? bricks, 1x? bricks, 1x? plates, 2x? plates,
slopes, inverted, tiles, etcetra.
Three - detailed sorting. After throwing all the inverted slopes in a box
together, seperate them into 2x2 inverted slope, 2x3 inverted slope, etcetra.
Fun, yes?
Anyway, heres my table setup (note that in the first photo you can see my Step
Two well underway):
I think I might need more of those three drawer containers - thats going to be
a pain: prices went up over a buck on em. Target has a sale on smaller,
individual containers, so I might just shell out for those.
