Influence of heat treatment on Lego® bricks + minifigs

Hi all! Have you ever thought abou the maximum washing temperature for dirty Lego® bricks? At what temperature will Lego® bricks get damaged - for e.g. in summer in your car or in your house's Lego® room under the roof? I did the ultimate test (...)   my storage

Hi all, Just because the "how do you store your Lego" keeps coming up in various forums, I took photos of my storage and threw together a quick page. It could be found here: (URL) earth-shattering. I just figured this was an appropriate place to (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jun-02, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Attic Heat

(...) Here's an update: It was 101 degrees here today and when I found my first melted crayon of the year in the car, it reminded me to check on some stray LEGO pieces in the glove compartment. They were fine. Maggie (22 years ago, 6-Jun-02, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Which tackle boxes

I use ones made by Plano (www.planomolding.com) I am not sure if you can purchase in Europe; you might try some online sources from the US that will ship internationally. -Rob "M. Moolhuysen" <moom@nospam-chello.nl> wrote in message (...) (22 years ago, 27-May-02, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Which tackle boxes

(...) Thank you for your reply, William. I've found the link to the European manufacturer that produces these boxes (they had even 2 additional types) As far as I can tell these organisers contain a certain amount of differend fixed size containers.   Which tackle boxes

Hello all, Living at the other side of the puddle, it's a bit hard for me to locate recources for tackle box type of storage compartments. I know from this newsgroup that in this field there has been some product replacement going on last Year, so I (...) (22 years ago, 22-May-02, to lugnet.storage)

I know that NGLTC uses the plastic rain gutters attached to the sides of building tables that are used for kids to play with. -Scott Lyttle (...) (22 years ago, 14-May-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.storage, lugnet.space)

  Trapdoor thoughts

Picture if you will, a sheet of tinted Plexiglas with a hole in one area, or perhaps a door that lifts up to reveal a hole. Underneath the hole is a large, maybe 2 foot diameter wheel-like structure, which hangs from the table. It is partitioned (...) (22 years ago, 14-May-02, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Poor Mans Work Table

(...) Actually I have. After I built this, I already have noticed that same issue. The hard surface is good for sliding pieces off the table, but the tile and front board kind of make the bottom ones get stuck. What could be done is to have a small (...)   Re: Poor Mans Work Table

I too really like your table edge- keeping pieces off the floor is important with cats with a chewing fetish. Has anyone thought of putting a 'funnel' or 'pour spout' on their table? I don't have room for such a table right now, but as soon as I (...) (22 years ago, 14-May-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.storage, lugnet.space)

  Re: Poor Mans Work Table

Nice Table Brad, I use a similar sized table for building on except mine is built on two hollow core interior doors. You can pick one of these up at a lumberyard for about 15-24 dollars (US). They have a pretty strong strength to weigh ratio (...) (22 years ago, 14-May-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.storage)

  Re: Poor Mans Work Table

Personally....I just build on the floor. :) I found a nice table, about 4 feet long, 2 feet wide, and a foot high, for $10 at a garage sale down the street.   Re: Poor Mans Work Table

(...) Nice table Brad! I had an idea I might try if I ever make a work table, top it with that non-skid foamy padding stuff. That way bricks don't go sliding all over. It's a little pricey, and finding a big roll would be a chore, but I think that (...) (22 years ago, 13-May-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.storage, lugnet.space)

  Poor Mans Work Table

The following work table was my Sundays project. For starters I use to build on a 3/8 inch 4x8 board layed across a printer stand and a old desk. To say the least it was very flimsy.   Re: Attic Heat
