   (...) You might be right. It will interesting to see if it catches on. Personally, I think it sounds dorky. The Beatles tried this once - there phrase was "Gear". Sort of synomynous with "Cool".    (...) Stupid slang expressions. This could evolve into a mega-thread. Hip is medium dorky - the variant of "Hep Cat" was worse. And, since the passing of Sammy Davis Jr., only seems to apply to Paul whatsisname on Letterman. And Word! is just, well, (...) (26 years ago, 28-Mar-99, to lugnet.starwars)
