    SW plots (Spoilers) —Todd Lehman
(...) Indeed! SW is proof that a god exists, and that he wants us to be happy. But I don't agree with critics about the plot being thin -- at least not when compared to the other 3 movies... Ep4 in a nutshell: Steal secret plans from the bad guys, (...) (25 years ago, 23-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: SW plots (Spoilers) —Selçuk Göre
(...) Single "climate" or single "season"? I think climates of Tatoonie (Ep1, Ep4 and Ep6), Degobah (Ep2), Hoth (Ep5) and Yavin 4 (Ep6) are totally different. If you mean "season", then, well..think about the insignificant changes in "climate" (...) (25 years ago, 24-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Selçuk <teyyareci> <sgore@nospam.superonline.com> wrote in message news:FC8qMB.76L@lugnet.com... (...) I think he meant there is little or no climate variation within each planet. All we see of Tatooine is desert; all we see of Hoth is arctic; all (...) (25 years ago, 24-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) actually corscent (u know the capital planet)does have a polar ice caps maybe some planets are monoclimatic and others are multiclimatic(and none are anticlimatic haha) (25 years ago, 26-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: SW plots (Spoilers) —Bram Lambrecht
(...) Ep1 had tons of anti-climax, like when Jar Jar had his hand stuck in the pod racer engine--you'd hink something would happen, put Padme just pulled his hand out. It made for an awfully pointless scene. --Bram Bram Lambrecht / o o \ (...) (25 years ago, 26-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: SW plots (Spoilers) —Steve Campbell
(...) It did give them more opportunity to have JJ say "Muh han thuk!" which makes kids laugh. Kids who then buy the toys (or bug the parents to buy the toys) of "that funny guy." So from a marketing standpoint it was FAR from pointless. SteveC (...) (25 years ago, 26-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: SW plots (Spoilers) —Joey Feland
(...) True, but its not like they focus on a planet long enough in the movies to see all the seasons anyway. They are on Hoth 3-4 days? Endor 3 days? Yavin 1-2? Naboo 1 to 2 weeks? As for Tatooine, it has two suns, I can imagine the 4 seasons there: (...) (25 years ago, 24-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: SW plots (Spoilers) —Todd Lehman
(...) I guess I was thinking primarily of Tatooine (always shown as a desert), Endor (always referred to as "the forest moon"), and Hoth (usually referred to as a barren, frozen wasteland). And of course...hey, it's always dark and cold on the (...) (25 years ago, 24-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: SW plots (Spoilers) —Christopher Tracey
Didn't we find out the the forest moon of Endor has a desert climate in one of those Ewok television specials that aired a bit after ROTJ?
