Here is my impressions of the eps 1 SW sets
Gungan Sub
Worth $50. ?? I don't know how many pieces there are, but I would put
it in the $40-50 range. Jar Jar looks cool(the head) It also looks as if
Lego made some new hair pieces. It looks like Obi-won has a flat top
with pony tail and the other guy has just plain long hair. Nice overall
design with some nice patterned parts. Cool tail design.
Naboo Fighter
Anikin fig with that cool pilot's helmet(it would make a good 60's football
helmet :). Finally a WWII cockpit :) and more yellow pieces :) and a new
cone antenna piece. And, wow, check out those two totally cool battle
droids :) What!?! It's only $20. :)
Mos Espa Pod Race
$90., 894 pieces not bad. Only $.60 over the $.10 per piece price. Those
pod racers a pretty cool looking. I'm guessing that either we don't see the
whole set on the box cover, or part of it is indistinguishable. It looks like
it
should have some neat minifigs(aliens maybe:)?!?!
I case you didn't notice I will be getting the Naboo Fighter :) if I can find
it.

| This is my favorite of the EP1 sets too. The helmet does look good on young Anakin, especially with the goggles, but it is not new with this set. I know of at least one Adventurers set that came with this helmet and goggles. (URL) Gatrelle (...) (...) (26 years ago, 17-Apr-99, to lugnet.starwars)
