People! If you want to discuss about the title please go to
http://www.nightly.net/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=forum&f=3
and continue there. IMHO the main topic here should be "Star Wars LEGO"
and not "Star Wars".
Furthermore I have done some research on how and why George Lucas named
this film AOTC and I quote:
CNN: "The new title is a reference to a favorite throwaway line in the
1977 "Star Wars," when Luke Skywalker is told that Obi-Wan Kenobi fought
with Skywalker's father in "the Clone Wars."
The Age: "Giving each installment a chapter title "harkens back to the
sense of pure fun, imagination and excitement that characterized the
classic movie serials and pulp space fantasy adventures that inspired
the 'Star Wars' saga," Lucasfilms said in its Web announcement."
USA Today: "Lucasfilm spokeswoman Lynn Hale says the old-fashioned ring
is intentional. "George has always chosen titles that harken back to the
fun titles that characterized the classic sci-fi serials. I like to
think Attack of the Clones is very much in the same category as The
Phantom Menace and A New Hope," the original film's subtitle."
Greetingz...
