Custom fig idea- snow troopers —David Eaton
Ok, I'm not one to go modifying 'figs, but I figured I'd offer up the idea-- how about painting a Imperial Guard fig's helmet white and slapping it on a stormtrooper, with either the scout trooper head or a black head? Just a thought... Also faked (...) (24 years ago, 1-Mar-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Custom fig idea- snow troopers —Joel Jacobsen
(...) Sounds pretty close, to me. Of course you'd need to find white cloth, right? I haven't watched Ep5 in a few months, but I seem to recall they had cloaks as well....? (...) Hmm..why not just use the Tie Fighter pilot? Aren't they pretty close, (...) (24 years ago, 3-Mar-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Custom fig idea- snow troopers —Mark Sandlin
(...) Huh? ATAT drivers wore gray and white. They had hoses on their helmets similar to the TIE pilots, but the resemblance ends there. ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (24 years ago, 3-Mar-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Custom fig idea- snow troopers —Eric Joslin
(...) Actually, AT-AT pilots wear *exactly* the same outfit as TIE Pilots, except the color scheme. eric (24 years ago, 3-Mar-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Custom fig idea- snow troopers —Trevor Pruden
(...) I agree! Who was it who made the figurines and vehicles in the late 70s/early 80s? Kenner? I forget. Anyways, I had an At-At, with the hand-thingamabob in the body that allowed you to move the head and fire the light-up laser cannons. The (...) (24 years ago, 4-Mar-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Custom fig idea- snow troopers —Aaron West
(...) The AT-AT Commanders look the same as the Star Destroyer Officers *except* that they are wearing a armor breastplate unique to them, and a blast helmet similar to the one worn by the AT-ST Drivers. Also they carry a loaded side-arm in a (...) (24 years ago, 7-Mar-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Custom fig idea- snow troopers —Joel Jacobsen
(...) Well.... yeah. I was actually thinking more of the helmets being basically the same. It's been a while since I last watched Ep5, so I wouldn't begin to claim I have the colors right. I just knew that white didn't seem quite right for the (...) (24 years ago, 7-Mar-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Custom fig idea- snow troopers —Daniel Crichton
(...) Checking the Behind The Magic CD the AT-AT drivers are white/grey with the same helmets as TIE pilots in white/grey, the AT-AT commander (eg. General Veers in EP5) wear's black/dark grey with open fronted helmet. Dan (24 years ago, 7-Mar-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Custom fig idea- snow troopers —Shaun Sullivan
I've madethis point to Dave before, but I'll air it in the open as well. I use the Tie Fighter pilots in my AT-AT, and I can justify it to myself, at least ;) The AT-AT drivers we see in ESB are in gray and white - but, one can also see that the (...)         Re: Custom fig idea- snow troopers —Mark Sandlin
(...) That sounds like a very good rationalization. :^) What if you combined the white Stormtrooper helmet with another torso? I'm having trouble thinking of a good torso to use at the moment, but it's a thought. :^) ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (24 years ago, 7-Mar-01, to lugnet.starwars)
