Well, does anyone remember the "gun" pieces that came with the old Space
sets? Those would have been PERFECT Star Wars blasters.

Ahh, the big old video camera.
Star Wars battles are fought mainly by
guys shouting through megaphones
and shooting unflattering video footage
of the enemy. Like a vicious paparazzi attack.

But you can stick a couple of megaphones together
and make a reasonable heavy blaster, as you
can barely see in this image:
