  Re: Attn: Ralph Döring

(...) I have to suspect that Ralph has run into some sort of mail trouble or something. I had someone email me asking for some help in contacting him as well. In the Cross Sections book that someone mentioned earlier, the cutaway of the Jawa Sandcrawler shows the "Decoy Pod from Tantive IV" which I am guessing is R2-D2's and C-3PO's escape pod. (...) Jorge Rodriguez discovered the information at a store that accidentally inserted it into a machine, and put it on LUGNet. Then it was put on FBTB, then removed, then put up again, but modified, and with permission from LEGO. Alan (24 years ago, 23-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Whats Going on???

I've been reading the "2001 sets on FBTB", but I don't understand. Did lego release info on the sets, or did they find pictures... Just wondering, NICK #:^\ (24 years ago, 23-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) I think what you are seeing there is red reflections in the visor. Those aren't facial features, I think. It may be black with a trans-red coating, in which case it would look black but occasionally reflect red. I've seen some motorcycle (...) (24 years ago, 23-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Yes, Alder Beedo is a podracer pilot. My fault, I was wrong in my last post. I just checked the Behind the Magic CD and I can confirm that the Imperial royal guards are all red with a trans-red visor (although they look black). -- Andrew, Agent 0007 (24 years ago, 22-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) The "visors" are black in ROTJ... as for ESB, the Royal Guards aren't in the original, they might be in SE, I dunno 'cause I haven't watched it much.   Re: The 2001 lineup (list on FBTB)

I just looked at Starwars.com, and they show a red visor, or at least, the shadowed face of the guard appears as if the visor were red. (URL) looks better, IMHO, but there could be more than one visor color. Maybe it's a smoky red color so it (...) (24 years ago, 22-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)
