MOC Radiant VII just added to my page

Hi all! I just snapped a few pics of my latest time-eater :) As I promised a while ago, I have started to build some microfig capital ships from Star Wars. There is just something about the Corellian ships I love... can't say I can put my finger on (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars) !

  Anyone from Latin America

Im curious; anyone here from Latin America (specially Venezuela)?? thanks (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

My opinion for a major set for 2001

Hi everyone, My opinion for a set for 2001 would be a Droid Control Ship with the viceroy and a couple of destroyer droids and battle droids. =o) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Jawas (was Re: Imperial Sets in 2001)

(...) They are made from 1x2 black med. slopes, 2 1x1 black plates with horz. or vert. side clip and a 1x1 black cone, possibly an extra 1x1 round for extra hieght. With the 1x1 plates with clips forming the hands they can actually hold tools, (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Jawas (was Re: Imperial Sets in 2001)

(...) I really like your sandcrawler, but I can't make out the Jawas in the picture... what are they made out of? -Bryan (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: A couple stupid SW questions...

(...) Yeah, that's what I figured you were talking about. Maybe Alderaaaaaan had a core of highly unstable material just itching to explode, and the Death Star simply set it off... Nah! Dave! (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) would (...) Does anyone know why Lego doesn't make smaller minifigs for kids? Aside from being a possible choking hazard (which there's plenty of choking hazards anyway) I can't see any reason why Lego couldn't make "kidfigs." -Bryan (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: A couple stupid SW questions...

(...) Even if the Death Star used its entire structure (160km diameter for DS1, 600km diameter DS2) to fuel its hyper-matter reactor it still would not have sufficent energy to blow apart a planet. I'd say that is a major physics problem that was (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: A couple stupid SW questions...

(...) Just for my own physics-illiterate curiosity, what laws specifically do you consider the Death Star to break? Dave! (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: A couple stupid SW questions...

(...) Actually, in the "project energy all around the ship" sense, the Interceptors *do*. However, it doesn't protect the ship from damage in an armor sense, it acts as a scrambler of sorts vs. enemy targetting. No, it's not in the show, but it is (...)   Re: Imperial Sets in 2001

(...) Jawas would be very easy to make as minifigs...just a brown torso with garment printing such as Qui-Jon's, a plain black head, brown hood, black or brown gloves, brown cape, and a 1x2 brown brick and 2 pairs of stacked brown 1x1 round plates.   Re: Star Wars Customs

(...) I used to do custom figures, but looking back, (I haven't done one in almost a year) I realize that the quality I made them sucks horribly. You can find them at the address in my sig if you want to see them, but I suggest taking a look at some (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Imperial Sets in 2001

(...) I would love to see jawas and ewoks, but I dont like the single element idea, they should and probably would be minifigures, for increased modularity, sebulba was the exception because hes not really humanoid. But just think, if they wouldn't (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)
